Ballydawmore 6 was located on the proposed M11 Gorey to Enniscorthy scheme. The site was situated in pasture. Four pits and a post-hole were recorded. The function of these pits is currently unknown.
The most substantial feature was located in the centre of the site and measured 4.3m by 1.35m by 0.14m. This feature had a linear shape with rounded ends, concave sides and an undulating base. Two fills were recorded, the upper one of which was charcoal-rich.
An oval pit measuring 0.45m by 0.3m and 0.15m deep was located in the north corner of the site. This feature had a concave profile and a charcoal-flecked fill. Another oval pit of similar size, profile and fill was recorded west of the first pit. A sub-oval pit of similar size and profile but with a higher content of charcoal was recorded in the south-west corner of the site.
A single oval post-hole was recorded in the south-east quadrant of the site, measured 0.3m by 0.24m and was 0.3m deep with vertical sides and a concave base. This feature contained a charcoal-flecked silty clay fill.
