Ballydawmore 4 was located on the proposed M11 Gorey to Enniscorthy scheme. The site was identified in grassland with a hedgerow on its eastern side and the Corbally Stream at its southern end.
Two curvilinear features were recorded on-site, both of which continued beyond the limit of excavation. The larger of the ditches, measuring 1.4m wide, traversed the site for 20m east to west and curved southwards. The ditch was 0.25m deep with a U-shaped profile. This curvilinear ditch held three fills, the upper layers of which yielded sixteen sherds of possible medieval Leinster ware.
This wider ditch truncated a shallow curvilinear gully, 1m wide and 0.4m deep. This gully was 22.8m long within the site, being aligned east to west and curving northwards.
A post-hole was recorded at the western end of the wide ditch.
Other agricultural features such as plough furrows were also visible on the site.
A piece of flint was recovered from the topsoil.
