Monitoring in association with the excavation of storm-water drains was carried out over five days during March 2010. The excavation of the pipeline trench, which was confined to the tarmac area surrounding the church, was subject to continual monitoring. Excavation of the trench was undertaken by a 6-tonne excavator equipped with a toothed bucket. Nothing of archaeological significance was revealed during monitoring.
