Two small test-trenches were manually excavated in advance of construction of a community room within the curtilage/rear yard of Tipperary Community Centre, St Michael’s Street, Tipperary, a protected structure. Nothing of an archaeological nature was noted in the trenches, which were dug to an average depth of 0.25m.
