Testing was undertaken on the site of a proposed dwelling-house development in the townland of Maghernakill, to the south-east of Castleblaney, Co. Monaghan, in June 2010. A total of six linear test-trenches were excavated across the site, comprising 336m² of trenches. No features, finds or deposits of archaeological significance were identified during testing.
