The foreshore and intertidal areas at Aghoos and Glengad (foreshore Areas 1–4) underwent further archaeological inspection to assess any possible changes to exposure levels that may have taken place since the original on-site assessment took place in 2007 (ADCO Ltd, licence numbers 07D038, 07D040, and 07R169, 07R170). This assessment was completed as part of the Corrib onshore gas pipeline project. No material, features, or structures of archaeological significance were encountered as part of this assessment.
