Three trenches were excavated in advance of the construction of a new dwelling on the site of an existing derelict structure and yard. It is proposed to demolish the rear wall of the site which forms a portion of the southern boundary wall of the graveyard. There were no ex situ architectural fragments noted during the inspection and survey of the wall. Six small fragments of bone, four possible human and two human, were identified from one of the trenches along the rear boundary wall. The bone recovered is probably the residual remains of burials within the site, which have been disturbed by subsequent phases of activity in antiquity.
