This concerned monitoring associated with the construction of a wind farm in Tullynamoyle townland, Co. Leitrim. The wind farm is located in an upland peat area which in recent years has been planted as part of a large forestry plantation. An assessment of the proposed development was undertaken as part of the planning application and this found no evidence for archaeological monuments/features in the area. During construction, monitoring of access roads, turbine bases and the installation of cables found no evidence for archaeological layers or features.
