Test-trenching was undertaken on the site of a proposed extension to the John Paul II Library, St Patrick’s College, Maynooth. The construction of a modern plaza, walkways and service trenches had disturbed the majority of the area to be impacted on by the proposed extension. Nothing of archaeological significance was uncovered in the test-trenches.
