An assessment was undertaken in advance of an extension to a quarry. The current phase of test-trenching focused on excavations at locations corresponding with features of archaeological potential identified in a previous geophysical survey.
A total of eleven test-trenches were excavated. These had a combined length of approximately 1137m. No archaeological sites or features were recorded.
