Trial-trenching was carried out at the site of a proposed development in Lackagh, Co. Galway, on 7 August, 2010, near GA070–088. Three trial-trenches were excavated at the site and nothing of archaeological significance was recovered. The site was seen to be composed almost entirely of naturally occurring soils and rock.
