Three trenches (each measuring 7m in length by 2m in width) were mechanically excavated along the northernmost boundary of a proposed development. The site lies close to the location of a medieval church and graveyard. Nothing of archaeological significance was observed in any of the trenches, with the ground having been disturbed due to recent commercial activity.
