2010:150 - WHITECHURCH, Cork

Pre-development testing of a proposed development site at White-church, Co. Cork, was carried out in response to a request for further information. The development consisted of the construction of a house, driveway and associated services on a greenfield site. The site is located within the zone of archaeological potential for CO063–015, a ringfort. Seven test-trenches were excavated on the proposed development site. No archaeological finds or features were uncovered during testing.
