Excavations at Lonsdale Road, Armagh, uncovered a lane and several buildings associated with the brewery. Brewery Lane originally ran from Lower English Street to the rear of the brewery buildings, with the excavation revealing the original metalled surface with wheel ruts caused by the dray carts. Several buildings were also uncovered. These included parts of the original brewery building, as well as associated stores and houses. A lot of artefactual material was recovered, especially post-medieval pottery and glass.
