An assessment of a site at Red Bay townland, Cushendall, Co. Antrim, was undertaken in March 2010. The site is 150m north-west of Red Bay Castle, a late medieval monument in State care. Two test-trenches were excavated across the site with a combined length of 50m. These were mechanically excavated to subsoil. No archaeological finds or features were identified during this assessment.
