Wexford County Council required that a report be prepared as a condition of planning permission for a single-house development at Templetown, Hook Head. The development area was situated c. 210m from what may be a late prehistoric or early medieval promontory fort. As part of the assessment five test-trenches were excavated across the development area. Nothing of archaeological interest was noted.
