Test excavation was undertaken in advance of development of a single dwelling within a rural zone at Ballygullick, Tomhaggard, Co. Wexford. The site was situated partially within the constraint zone of an enclosure. The test-trenches were dug to a depth consistent with the surface of the underlying natural subsoil, which varied from 0.2m to 0.35m. Five test-trenches were excavated, three 50m long and two 15m long. Nothing of an archaeological nature was encountered.
