Two test-trenches were cut in a walled garden at the end of an early 19th-century terrace of houses in Stradbally, Co. Waterford. The garden is the site of a 19th-century police barracks, which replaced two of the terraced houses.
The site had once sloped steeply, but had been landscaped to accommodate the terraced houses. No ground level and no ex situ remains pre-dating the early 19th century were found. The site is probably 50–100m from the street of the medieval town.
