An assessment with testing was carried out at the request of Dungarvan Town Council. The proposed site is located to the north of Abbeyside Church and graveyard and is to be an extension to the existing graveyard. Four trenches were excavated, only to reveal the remains of a backfilled quarry. No archaeological stratigraphy features or artefacts were recorded.
