It is proposed to develop a sand and gravel quarry at Loughneas, Co. Tyrone. Prior to construction commencing, monitoring of topsoil removal was conducted. A substantial linear feature c. 3m wide extended east–west for c. 50m. This feature is present on the first-edition OS map as a road. Aside from this, there was nothing of archaeological significance.
