Monitoring was undertaken on 6 June 2009 in tandem with construction-led groundworks of a single two-storey dwelling and ancillary works. No archaeology was encountered in the course of the testing. However, the site was c. 80m from Loughmore Castle and it was therefore deemed expedient to monitor the groundworks.
