Following testing on a development site between Flag Lane and Blue Anchor Lane, Clonmel, and resolution of part of the site late in 2008 (Excavations 2008, No. 1115), piling was monitored at the start of 2009. In spring work on a new stairs beside Blue Anchor Lane was monitored, and a party wall between Nos 8 and 9 O’Connell Street was recorded before being partly removed. Unfortunately there was no monitoring of further groundworks on site.
