Testing was undertaken at the site of a proposed agricultural-related development in December 2009. The proposed development area is situated within the constraints areas associated with a linear earthwork site and a complex of monuments – field systems, house sites, a barrow, an enclosure and a souterrain. A total of 21 trenches of varying lengths and orientations were excavated within the development area and nothing of archaeological interest was uncovered.
