An assessment was carried out on the proposed site of a dwelling-house and associated site works in October 2009. The site was located halfway up the western length of Back Lane, Daingean, Co. Offaly. The assessment, which included the excavation of four test-trenches, did not yield any finds or features of archaeological significance.
