A programme of monitoring was carried out on c. 12.5km of distribution trunk mains around the western and southern perimeters of Navan town as part of the larger Navan mid-Meath water supply scheme. The majority of the works involved the construction of the water main along public roads, with a small section laid through privately owned lands.
Nothing of archaeological significance was noted during the course of monitoring.
