Moore Marine Services Ltd was commissioned to carry out assessment and testing on behalf of Shay Scanlon Architects at Kilmoon, Co. Meath. The site is in close proximity to a 9th-century church/ graveyard and/or monastery. Two test-trenches were excavated along the footprint of the proposed development. Both trenches recorded a homogenous sterile subsoil with no apparent archaeological remains.
