The proposed development at Greenwood, Ballyhaunis, involves the construction of a 28m-high monopole with antenna, transmission dishes and a ladder attached, associated works, equipment, cabinets and fencing for the government’s national broadband scheme. Three trenches, c. 9m long by 1.9m wide, were excavated in a north-east/south-west orientation. No features of archaeological significance were encountered.
