Test-trenching took place as part of an assessment for a mixed-use development close to an 18th-century house and 19th-century grain store with bee-boles in the garden wall in the village of Grange, close to the medieval church marked ^Grange Abbey’. Nothing of archaeological interest was found in the trenches.
