Two test-trenches were excavated on site in March 2009 by Deborah Sutton (see No. 522 above). Limerick County Council issued a request for further information upon receipt of the report on this testing. In June 2009 the licence was transferred, with a revised method statement. A further three trenches were opened on site. No finds or features of an archaeological nature were noted during testing.
