A pre-development assessment including test excavation was carried out on a proposed development area in Ballintubbert, Ballyadams, Athy, Co. Laois. It was proposed to construct a dwelling-house, domestic garage, septic tank, percolation area, bored well and new entrance. A total of five test-trenches were excavated across the proposed development area and these did not identify any finds, features or deposits of archaeological significance.
