Testing was undertaken of proposed development lands at Rathcoffey North with respect to an application to construct residential and commercial units on the site. A total of 48 trenches were excavated by machine fitted with a toothless ditching bucket. No features, deposits or artefacts of archaeological interest were uncovered during the course of the works.
