Testing was undertaken of proposed development lands at Lime Avenue, Mountarmstrong, in May 2009 with respect to an application to construct four houses on the site. A total of fifteen trenches were excavated by machine fitted with a toothless ditching bucket. No features, deposits or artefacts of archaeological potential were uncovered during the course of the works.
