Ninety-two test-trenches were excavated across the site at Crag, Farranfore, to determine if there were any previously unknown archaeological features or finds remaining below ground. A number of features/areas of archaeological interest were identified in the test-trenches. These included four fulachta fiadh, two small areas of burning and two areas in which there were post-and stake-holes.
