Planning permission was sought for a dwelling-house with associated services at a greenfield site at Garryad and Garryduff townland, within the village of Killimor, Co. Galway. The permission recommended an assessment, as the development site lies within the zone of constraint of the remains of a 19thcentury church (Trinity Chapel) (GA107–079), which is a protected structure. Four linear trenches were excavated using a mini-digger with a 1.2m-wide grading bucket. No archaeological features were identified.
