Planning permission was granted for the construction of a new engineering building and associated energy centre and store. The development also provided 140 car-parking spaces, associated landscaping and all associated site works and services. Previous testing by Billy Quinn for the Moore Group in July 2008 recovered a Bronze Age halberd (Excavations 2008, No. 553, 08E0618). Monitoring took place between June and September 2009. No finds or features of an archaeological nature were noted during monitoring.
