Seven test-trenches were cut here in advance of the construction of a private dwelling. A 19th-century field system with an earlier cashel (GA051–007) were located 70m away to the north-east and part of the constraint zone impinged on the site. The ground was quite rocky with pockets of topsoil clay between the rocks. There was no evidence for archaeology and no item of any description turned up.
