Pre-development testing was carried out at a proposed extension to the graveyard at St Brigid’s Parish Church, Church Road, Stillorgan, Co. Dublin. It was proposed to extend the existing graveyard into the rectory garden, creating 44 new grave plots. Two parallel test-trenches were excavated 5m apart and orientated north-east to south-west along the entire 28m length of the site. No finds, features or deposits of archaeological significance were identified during these works.
