The proposed area of development was located within the grounds of St Vincent’s Hospital, Fairview, Dublin 3, c. 100m north of the principal buildings (originally St Vincent’s Lunatic Asylum c. 1857), which are listed as protected structures in the Dublin City Development Plan 2005–2011. Nothing of archaeological significance was identified throughout the course of monitoring.
