It is proposed to undertake the redevelopment of 13–15 Dufferin Place, Killyleagh, Co. Down. The development will consist of the refurbishment of the existing street frontage properties into townhouses and the construction of an additional townhouse within ground to the rear of the property.
Monitoring of the footprint of the proposed buildings revealed a layer of cobbles and the lower courses of a stone wall, both of which are of modern date. Sections of the wall and the cobbles still remain in situ between the excavated trenches and will be preserved beneath the proposed townhouse.
