It is proposed to construct an integrated development consisting of a doctor’s surgery and three units of double-storey commercial premises intended for a pharmacy and other health-related facilities. The development will include associated hard-standing and landscaping.
A total of six test-trenches were excavated across the proposed area of development using a back-acting machine fitted with a toothless bucket. This revealed extensive modern disturbance and no archaeological deposits within the limits of the proposed development.
