Unlicenced monitoring was carried out on 23 September 2009 during the installation of an ESB connection within the zone of archaeological potential of a disused children’s burial-ground (^Kill’) at Coolmountain, Inchigeela. The excavation of two trenches, required for+ earth cables connected to a transformer, was monitored. Between c. 01m and c. 0.5m of a grey/brown sandy topsoil overlay a stony-orange/yellow boulder clay. No archaeological features or finds were noted.
