Monitoring took place in the townlands of Cragard and Ballymaconna, Co. Clare, at the site of a proposed level-crossing upgrade. This work was undertaken as part of a programme of archaeological works conducted in advance of the proposed upgrade of Level Crossing XE68 (Nugents’ Crossing). The monitoring identified no archaeology at the location of the development.
