Test-trenching in advance of a private housing development uncovered a curving ditch, a possible medieval field boundary and several linear gullies. Sherds of medieval glazed pottery were recovered from the possible field boundary during a test excavation. Animal bone and medieval glazed pottery were recovered from the curving ditch, which may be part of a house structure. Several sherds of everted-rim ware were recovered from a shallow pit located to the north of the possible structure. No further work has taken place at this site.
