Test-trenching was undertaken prior to the development of a single dwelling. The site was situated immediately beside KK036–060, which is described as a ringfort. Testing took the form of eight machine-excavated trenches. The topsoil was between 0.2m and 0.25m thick and was located immediately above a moderately compact yellow/brown clayey coarse sand. No archaeological features were identified in any of the test-trenches.
