The proposed development consisted of an extension to a primary school at Lisronagh, Clonmel. During previous development on this site the ground level was raised and, in agreement with the DoEHLG, monitoring was undertaken in order to comply with the planning conditions, as the site lies at the edge of the constraint zone of TS077–010, a medieval settlement. No features or finds of an archaeological nature were uncovered in any of the trenches opened.
