Test-trenching was carried out in advance of the development of a proposed stable block at Farranshea, Fethard. No features or finds of archaeological significance were revealed in the trenches. Monitoring of topsoil-stripping of much of the site had been previously carried out by Miriam Carroll (Excavations 2004, No. 1598, 04E1017) and no features or finds were revealed.
