Testing was carried out in April 2008, as part of a pre-development assessment of a proposed development area at Waller’s-Lot, to the south-west of Cashel town. The site is in proximity to the zone of archaeological potential for Cashel (TS061–125) and an enclosure (TS061–135). Nine test-trenches with a total length of 330m were opened across the site. No finds, features or deposits of archaeological significance were encountered during testing.
