A series of test-trenches were excavated on the footprint of the proposed industrial development at Ballyknock, Cashel, in compliance with the planning conditions, as the site lies at the edge of the constraint zone of TS061–007, an enclosure. No features or finds of an archaeological nature were uncovered in any of the trenches opened.
