Test-trenching was undertaken on the imprint of farm redevelopment works which included a silage base, milking parlour, storage and collection tanks at Cloonagleavragh, close to Easky village. The site is within the constraint area for a ringfort. A total of five trenches were opened on the site. In the course of testing a single feature was found. This feature was located at the base of a slope in a waterlogged area. Cut from within the topsoil, it had straight sides and a flat base and was filled with a silty clay. This feature had all the attributes of a modern drain. Otherwise no archaeological features/remains were uncovered in the course of testing works.
