Test-trenching was undertaken on the imprint of a slatted shed at Rathfuadagh townland, which is close to Tulsk village. Located c. 30m to the east of the development site is a ringfort. It was intended that the original development was to be larger, but it was reduced by half due to funding issues. Two test-trenches were opened on the imprint of the proposed new structure, a slatted tank. The area of this tank was formerly the site of a silage slab with retaining walls, which had been built some years previous. The groundworks for this silage slab resulted in the removal of topsoil and the laying of hardcore, as well as an overlying slab of concrete surrounded by concrete retaining walls. This earlier work had resulted in the hardcore directly overlying the natural deposition. No archaeological features were revealed in either of the two test-trenches opened.
